Description:
Under the supervision of the Special Projects Coordinator, the Family and Youth Services Coordinator (FYSC) develops, coordinates, and administers prevention and intervention services to youth and families in the NCADD Sacramento service area. Duties include, but are not limited to; coordination of the Families Living Well program, community outreach, assisting the Youth Advisory Board to reach it’s goals, assist with production of a quarterly newsletter as needed, assist with production of marketing materials as needed, and delivery of community prevention strategies.
Duties Include:
1) Establishes, plans, implements, and evaluates departmental goals and objectives.
2) Recruits all Families Living Well (FLW) participants.
3) Recruits, trains and supervises volunteers associated with the departments goals
4) Coordinates and schedules all FLW sessions.
5) Implements prevention strategies for NCADD’s various populations.
6) Assists with all grant reporting associated with the departments various projects.
7) Assists with the recruitment, coordination and implementation of the NCADD Youth Advisory Board.
8) Participates in vigorous programming and outreach activities; serves as liaison with community agencies which serve youth and families.
9) Knowledge of effective interpretation of basic prevention and intervention research and strategies across domains.
10) Serves as a liaison with community and governmental agencies as needed.
11) Assists with a quarterly newsletter geared towards the stakeholders of NCADD

Job Description: Program Director (full time)
The Program Director shall be the management level position with the overall administrative responsibility for the delivery of FRMSC services. In partnership with CDCR, the Program Director acts as the operations manager over all programs and Contractor staff.

Additional Qualifications: Applicants are not required to be registered to obtain Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AOD) certification at time of application; however, selectees must register to obtain AOD certification (pursuant to the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs’ Counselor Certification standards) upon appointment and obtain certification within five years as a condition of continued employment. Possession of a valid California Class C Driver’s License is required.
